What's this new craze on color blocking? did i hear you say its old skool? TRUE! why is it everywhere you look, cos its back with a bang. OH YES!!!(like my friend kiki would say...lol) Although its back like never before and like every other things in life, you have to be careful on how you block 'em colors. so here is the 411 on how its done.

you got so many bright colors in your closet and just don't know what to do with them, well fashion allows you to pair them up but!!! with certain other bright colors. there is a pattern when it comes to pairing them up to avoid looking like a disco light. here is a color chat wheel chat that proves to be helpful.

1. Colors directly next to each other (i.e. yellow and yellow-orange; yellow and yellow-green; violet and blue-violet, etc.)
2. Colors that form right (90 degree) angles with each other (i.e. yellow and
red-orange; blue and violet-red; green and orange, etc.)
3. Colors directly across from each other (i.e. yellow and violet; blue and orange; red and green, etc.)
4. Colors that form a T (i.e. blue, orange, and violet-red; yellow, violet, and red-orange; yellow,
blue-green, and red-orange, etc.)
5. Colors that form an X (i.e. blue, orange, violet-red, and yellow, violet, blue-green, and red-orange, etc.)

Brown is pairable with any of the color on the wheel beacuse it netural so try throwing some cobalt blue , fuchsia or bright red on chocolate brown. Black, white, denim blue are all netural colors so they pretty much go with any color. colors can be tricky but live a bit on the edge , try out fuchisa pink with red, peach on violet, oange mixed with green and turqouise gives you a good color blocking statement, shows you know your fashion. so try it on, play with the colors , its fun as long as you got the color wheel.

Many fashion styles and statements have come and gone, some remain extinct while some finds their way back in fashion and back into many hearts and closets. The polka dot is one of the fashion statements that was a trend back in the days and i cannot figure out wether its the glam of the 1950s that it brings to the mind but it sure is one of the trendiest fashion statement this season 2011.

People are busy connecting the dots on their fashion style, everywhere you look a dot is some where around. Whether you show them on your dress, on a hat, or on your hosiery, the dot adds a jolt of playfulness to your outfit.
Its becoming big this season, in skirts, dress, hats, bags and many other stuff you can walk with. Guarantee to have them in shelves and racks in stores.

one of the best thing about polka dot is that you can not take the fact that it is timeless away and also you can create any look out of it.These graphic circles are trendy, fun and can amazingly transform an outfit from drab to fab, if worn correctly. This classy print always gives the outfit a retro and feminine touch.
The polka dots have found its way on the red carpets, runways and on every woman on the street,  at the beach in bikins, blazers the list is endless.
