This is why i love the world of DIY creations...Shining CD Collar!

TREND ALERT...TOP 10 TRENDIEST PASTELS!!!

The recent fashion buzz when it comes to colours are the sweet pastel hues, be it in blouses, pants, purses, shoes, nails and yes even hairdos are going from regular black, brown, blondes to stricks or even full coloured out shades of pastel. From laying different shades of them to one piece of any shade to different tones of the same particular pastel eespecially in different fabrics, be it lace, satin, silk, you name it, they are everywhere.

These famous hues are huge on the runways and the streets cant seem to get enough of them, in patterns, florals, plains , checks, plaids , its goes on non stop. So here are the top 10 trendiest of everything pastel

10 trendy colors 2014

Light blue pastel shade Placid Blue. Hue of the sky, reflecting the calm and serenity. Excellent combines with any pastel shades and classic colors.

Lavender shade Violet Tulip, оvery romantic and vintage shade, evokes nostalgic memories. Very feminine spring shade.

Light green, almost pistachio, Hemlock, with that kind oriental touch. Gives perfection to the look, it is very different from the trendy mint and emerald hues with its tenderness. All three of these shades go perfectly with each other and with more bright colors.

Beige, a color of coffee with milk Sand, as Pantone‘s designers describe it – “a lightly toasted and amiable neutral, conjures images of the beach and the carefree days of summer.” This shade will look great with Hemlock green.

Gray shade Paloma – the most that neither is neutral. As the saying goes, and in the feast, and in the world. It will look excellent as solo, as well creates a balanced look in combination with other colors.

Coral red Cayenne looks like it brings a note of “spice” to the dominance of neutral and pastel shades. Perfectly complements each of these shades.

Bright sunny Freesia, “a blazing yellow”, also continues to be a hit. I already wrote about trendy yellow dresses, it’s nice that so radiant color will not be forgotten in the next season.

Kinda continuing the theme of the sun, “in the battle” comes orange Celosia Orange. The bright, neon shade of orange. Designers Pantone advised to combine it with Violet Tulip. It will be a blast!

Another shade of purple palette – Radiant Orchid, a little more pink than its pastel colleague Violet Tulip, closer in tone to the shade of fuchsia. Perfectly complements the neutral shades.

Light blue shade Placid Blue also has a “brother in spectrum” in the pantheon of the trendiest colors – more dark Dazzling Blue. It is stronger and more bright than it’s calm pastel “colleague”.

PLAIDS....GOT TO HAVE IT!!!

its def an oldie, especially in the 90s but its making a huge comeback and frankly its being embraced everywhere too, from street fashion to celebs back, to men fashion scene and the ladies are most def not left out. The plaid trend is here people, so hey try some out.
Now when it comes to Plaid, you want to go minimal, maybe a piece at a time, if you find it in suits or dresses, let it go only tat far, do not try and match it up with anything plaid related, that would just be an overkill.

The experts have advice how to do plaids and its simple...A great sweater with plaid detailing is perfect with a cute mini skirt and tall boots. If you’re going for a more casual look, wear a plaid button down opened with a graphic tee underneath and pair it with your favorite skinny jeans and low booties. it also can be infused into your nigth look, sure great plaid dresses or with plaid detailing is just out hanging in a store rack justb for your picking. So you not so sure of this plaid business, well then baby steps...start with purses, heels, hair bands etc.

Here are some of the plaid statements i found on the net, i hope this helps in the conviction department.
its all about fashion and style, its suppose to be fun, by all means try out some plaids...winks

MORE BEAUTY TRENDS THIS SEASON...

According to GMA News which was put out 4days ago, gave an insight of what is trending in hair and makeup come this 2014 and its simply Clean and Fresh all the way. Concerning hair and make up, keeping it clean and fresh is the advised way to go, its the new more edgier and sexier look for this season. A tip also from cele makeup artist Paolo Maranan, your focus when it comes to make up is you accentuating your eyes and lips.

Its said that another trend is actually the 'yun nga, Kohl eyeliner,(still looking into what that really is guys, will keep you posted) but this is what is advised “Two sweeps of inner liner na Kohl eyeliner, up and down. Then let it smudge. So it doesn't look that clean, but it's edgy, it's sexier.” Guess its the year of exploring so lets try it out...lol

Also when it comes to lips , gloss, shimmers, glitters should be left behind with 2013. Blush is still on but not so much of a highlight this year, its really more of the eyes and the lips...sounding like fun already. Also heavy foundation is a no no, mosturizing is adviced to be a big trend this year especially when getting that fresh look as the cornerstone of the fresh look is a flawless complextion.
When it comes to lip color this season radiant orchid and plum are the trending colours but keep in mind you have to find the best shade for you skin tone.
Radiant Orchid Lips

Plum Lips

Orange and Coral are best for dark skin while Matte and Red are the best bet for fair skin tones.

All in all, when it comes to colours, bright, electric shades of the 80s funk look is reportedly your best friend but pastels such as lavender, light pink, and light blue can still hold their own against the turning tides of style.

Now for hairstyle, according to gmanetworks.com chopped hairddos are what will be emerging on the scenes this year. The 70's style of short and textured style are making a comeback. There will be loads of shorter hair not that the long hair are going out just that they will be more of simple ponytails, braids also but this time coiled around the head like a crown.

So this is my thought, inspite of all these new emerging trends, i say you should try all the fun out of them and find whichever works for you and brings out your personality cause in life there are no clean cut rules to anything, so find the best you in 2014 and ROCK ON!!!...

HAPPY NEW YEAR AGAIN...winks
